Class Teacher - Maternity Cover or 1 year NQT contract

Our Lady of Ransom Catholic School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic

and highly-motivated class teacher in KS2 to join our friendly and dedicated team.

Our Lady of Ransom was judged to be a GOOD school by Ofsted in May 2016

and an OUTSTANDING Catholic school (Section 48 Inspection, May 2016)

Our school provides a happy, calm atmosphere with delightful children,

a wonderful learning environment and supportive colleagues, governors and parents.

The successful candidate will need to be a strong practitioner committed to

achieving high standards of pupils' learning and capable of teaching imaginatively.

The post would suit an experienced or newly qualified teacher who is either

a practising Catholic or willing to support the strong Catholic ethos of our school.

* This is a maternity contract and as such may not last for the whole academic year.  

However if an NQT is appointed the School will honour a one year contract

so that the successful applicant is able to complete his/her full NQT year.

Midday Assistant

The school is looking to recruit a midday assistant to support our children at lunchtime
for two days per week on a Monday and Tuesday from 11.30 to 13.15 during term time.  
The post is graded to be Band 1 Point 10 (approximately £8.74 per hour). 
The successful candidate will be joining a friendly, hardworking team of midday assistants 
committed to working with the children at lunchtime, both in the dining hall and outdoor play areas, 
to ensure that they have a safe and fun lunch hour.

Casual Midday Cover

We are seeking hardworking and reliable people to assist in providing lunchtime supervision on a casual basis.

The School would like to build a bank of relief Midday Assistants who can be called upon to cover occasional absences.
