Reading

1C Book Changing Day = Tuesday

1CE Book Changing Day = Thursday

Reading books will be changed each week if there is a comment in your child’s book to say that they have competed them. Please do let us know if your child is struggling with their book. Comprehension is a vital part of reading. Please stop your child every few pages and ask them questions about the story so far. If they are unable to answer your questions then it is vital that they re-read those pages. We would like the children to read to you every day please. They can read their books more than once.

Please encourage and help your child to read other books. the Oxford Owl website is perfect for this.
