This week, some of the children have had the opportunity to be the 'teacher'- we have learnt some wonderful things from you, children, from knitting and baking to the history of video games! We look forward to learning even more from you next week!

The children should now know their words for the production and must keep performing them at home using a loud, expressive voice.  Also, they must continue to practise singing the production songs at home. Songs can be accessed below - just scroll down to 'production tracks' at the bottom of the page.

Below is a list of outfits that various characters will need for the show.  Most children will be performing in their school uniforms. Please delve into cupboards and dressing up boxes at home and bring in any of the following costumes that you might have, even if it is not for your own part.  Please note - this list is a work in progress!  

Mr Parascandolo - suit and West Ham tie, glasses, large name badge

Miss Martin - formally dressed with glasses, wig for boys, large name badge

Mrs Dodsworth - formally dressed with wig, large name badge

Dads - shirt and tie with moustache or stubble

Mums - summer dresses/apron and make-up  (Rachel needs smudged mascara due to weeping)

Bus drivers - black trousers, white shirt, black tie, high vis jacket with company logo badge, peaked cap

Waitresses - white blouse, skirt and apron, wigs, earrings and makeup

Slippery slopes manager - suit, jacket undone with wonky tie

Instructors - trainers, PE shorts, matching t-shirts (eg plain red), slippery slopes lanyard / badge

Cooks - white aprons (dirty) and chef’s hats

Odd job man - boiler suit, arm in sling and bandage around head

OLOR Children - OLOR t-shirts, OLOR hats, tracksuit bottoms and trainers, safety helmets (hard hats or cycle helmets) for some scenes.  Dressing gowns for the dorm scene

Mrs Slough and Mrs Randall - glasses, matching waterproof jackets, jeans and trainers at the start then dressing gowns for the last scene

Toffington children - long socks, shorts , white t-shirt or shirt, neck scarf, woggle and beret then dressing gowns for the last scene

Miss Finster - army sergeant hat and smart / military style blazer/ cane/ ruler to measure ties, then dressing gowns for the last scene but still wearing berets
