Thank you to everyone who has come along to our termly learning conferences so far.  We look forward to seeing the rest of you next week.  Remember that the children lead the meetings, so it is essential that they attend. Please contact the office to book an appointment if you haven't already done so.

Congratulations to our quiz team who battled to victory in the semi-finals.  They will now face three other primary schools in the final on Monday 1st April.  Will April Fool's Day be lucky for them?  Let's hope so - good luck, everyone!

Homework for next week can be found below (see 026. Year 6 Homework w.c 25th Mar 19).

You can also scroll down to the bottom of this page to access the following files:
  • Useful questions for reading
  • Year 3-4 spellings (the children must be able to spell these correctly in their independent writing before moving on to the Year 5-6 words)
  • Year 5-6 spellings
  • Year 6 Maths objectives
  • Suggested reading for Year 6
Don't forget that you can access the free online lesson relating to your MyMaths homework whenever you need to.  You can also do this for all your previous MyMaths homeworks whenever you need to revise. The following free website is also a great resource to use:

Parents, please remember to check your child's bag for letters on a regular basis and to help them to keep their pens, pencils, homework diary and locker key safe and organised.   Please remember that one simple key ring or lanyard is all that is needed for your child's locker key.

Stationery
Just a gentle, but important, reminder that children need to come to school with a green biro and a glue stick in their pencil cases.  Pencil cases must be small enough to fit into a tray.  Please encourage your child to look after the pen and pencil they are given and to make sure they do not get left at home.  Thank you for your co-operation.

Please ensure that all items of clothing, including ties, shoes and P.E kits, are clearly labelled with your child's name.
