Cleaner

Our Lady of Ransom Catholic School is looking to appoint enthusiastic 

and highly motivated cleaners to join our friendly and dedicated Site Team.

12.5 hours per week,  term time plus two weeks additional cleaning duties in the holidays

 Monday - Friday 3:30pm -  6:00pm  

Pay £13.28 per hour

Start date : 1st September 2026

The caretaker and cleaning team as a whole are responsible for 

maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the school.

Duties will include general cleaning of all areas of the school, including toilets, 

classrooms, and the staffroom, as well as other duties related to the cleanliness of the school premises. 

You will also participate in the deep clean of the school during closure periods.

All employees are expected to demonstrate a responsible attitude toward

health and safety and to have due regard for their personal safety and that of others.

The successful applicant will be enthusiastic and hard-working, with high standards

and the ability to work well on their own and as part of the cleaning team. 

They need to be reliable, have a flexible approach to daily tasks

and be able to use their own initiative.

Following safer recruitment procedures, the appointment will be subject to

satisfactory references, medical clearance and enhanced DBS disclosure.
